Im Back!

Wow. I havnt updated this in forever! Life has been really busy with 2 kids, but Im back now and am excited to keep everyone up to date with what we have going on!! Kaitlyn is enjoying school and growing like a weed. She will be 4 next month. How time flies! Here is a new picture of her:

She is learning to write her name and knows most of her colors. She has come so far since the summer. We are batteling a bad attitude and lack of concentration, but something we are working in.

Ashlynn is also growing like a weed. Tommorow she will be 8 months! I swear I just brought her home. She crawls and can pull to standing on things. She loves to cruise the furniture, but hasnt attempted to take a step by herself yet. Which is fine by me..lol. Here is a recent photo of her...

She has a tooth now, and with the way she has been acting latley, Im sure more are on the way!

Well thats all for now. I hope I can be better at updating this!

Kaitlyn's First day of School

My baby started her pre-school on Sept. 15th (yes, I know Im running behind..lol). She was sooo excited to go, it was hard to make her wait for me to get everyone ready and out the door. Steve took the morning off so he could go with us. Her teachers name is Miss. Kim and she is in the green room. Its almost been a month now she has been in school and just loves it! Here are a couple pictures of her from that morning.

Air Show

On Sunday we headed over to the Willow Run air show for a bit. Its this neat air show with old planes. Tickets are really exspensive, but you can sit on the side of the road and see them take off. We got to see a couple old bombers and then all of a sudden out of no where came an F-16! It was so loud and fast, but one of the neatest things Ive ever seen. It scared Kaitlyn. It kept comming right over us doing flips and turns. Then it met up with an old bomber and it looked like they were touching wings!! Pretty cool. Here are some pics: Here are some pics that I took of the girls while we were there: and here is a video of the F-16 and Bomber:

It was a fun time, even though it scared Kaitlyn and I think next year we are going to try to get tickets for it!

Our Newest Addition

On June 17th at 8:46pm, We welcomed our new daughter.

We got to the hospital around 9:45am, got into a room and waited..lol. Someone came in around 11am to do paper work and give me my IV. The lady giving me my IV sucked major monkey butt! She was new and I guess missed that class, cause finally after a few attempts and busting through one of my veins my mom made her "boss" put it in. So we got that started or so we though. They came in around 12:00 to give me some meds to get things going and they noticed no one ever turned the IV on.. ...so they turned that on, put the pill in me and I couldnt get back out of bed for 4 hours while the meds works. About 2 hours into it I was having contractions bad and about every 30-45 seconds, so my Dr came in checked me and I hadnt made any progress. He did order my epi though. They came and in and put that in and I felt so good. I layed there and rested a while. Around 3 they came in again and I was only about 3.5-4, so they went to get me pitocin. They started that and within the the hour, I could really feel my contractions. I told the nurse and she didnt believe me. She came back about an hour later and I told her again I felt them. She checked me and I was a 6. but I could totally feel all the contractions. She asked why I wasnt pushing my button in my epi for more meds and I said I didnt have a button...so she went and got me one, but it wouldnt work. She went to find out why. All this time the contractions are getting longer and more painful. She comes back and thinks the battery is dead on the pump. She changes it. A Dr comes in checks me again and Im 7 and I tell him about the epi. He goes to get someone to look at it. By now Im in so much freaking pain its crazy..lol. Its about 7:30 by now and I feel like i need to push. Again, the bitch of the nurse doesnt believe me until I BEG her to get someone to check me. They do and Im 9 with just a bit of cervix left and my water are still intact. They are rushing around getting the room ready and calling my Dr. He gets there and you can already see her head. By this time they of course cant do crap with the Epi and I just have to deal with it. He breaks my water and her head is out in just a few pushes. Her shoulders get stuck though and he numbs me down there cause Im ripping, a few hard pushes later and she comes flying out!! I got a 2nd degree tear and did most of it with out an Epi and while I would never want to do it again with out one, I am pretty proud of myself...lol...I didnt enjoy labor this time as much as I did with Kaitlyn, cause of the pain. I dont have that "Im done" feeling... and even though this labor was rough, Id do it all again in a heartbeat!! I about died though when they weighed her and said 8lbs 6oz!!!!!! Kaitlyn was only 7lbs 10oz!! She looks exactly like Kaitlyn did at this age, except more of a full face.

Kaitlyn meeting her new little sister for the first time...
